Traffic Control and Traffic Management Trainer

Acquired Awareness Training Centre is the training arm of Acquired Awareness Traffic Management, a large Traffic Management Company operating in southeast Queensland.  Our Head Office is located in the northern Brisbane suburb of Brendale and we are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Trainer to become part of our training team.

The successful applicant will be a person who:

  • Enjoys talking to groups of learners and imparting knowledge
  • Is self-motivated and organised
  • Has a good eye for detail (following RTO processes / marking assessments & completion of training related paperwork)

The applicant must have:

  • Current Qld Traffic Control (TC) and Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) Cards
  • A minimum of 5 years TC & TMI experience (evidence required)
  • A current Cert IV TAE
  • A Current Driver’s licence and
  • The ability to work out of the Brendale Depot

It will be an advantage, but it is not essential to :

  • Hold a current Qld Traffic Management Design (TMD) Card
  • Be a Qld Dept. Transport & Main Roads approved trainer
  • Have experience with RapidPlan Design Software

For the right applicant this position may lead to further opportunities for professional development.  The successful applicant will start as soon as possible on an attractive salary package.

Traffic Control Skillset ‘RIISS00044 Work Zone Traffic Control’

AATC will be delivering the Traffic Control Skillset ‘RIISS00044 Work Zone Traffic Control’ in the near future.

This means that participants who successfully complete this Traffic Control course will be awarded the following units:

  • RIIWHS205D Control Traffic with Stop/Slow Bat
  • RIICOM201D Communicate in the Workplace
  • RIIWHS201D Work Safely and follow WHS policies and procedures
