The aim is to have not a single road death in Australia just for one day. Road Safety is a complex issue but if we all think about Road Safety and Safe Driving just for one Friday of the year, that day’s toll (statistically about 5 deaths) could be reduced to zero. It is believed if road users actively concentrate on road safety and safe driving for just one day in the year, they will drive safer for the next few days and overtime, change their outlook completely. Last year was very successful with no road deaths on Fatality Free Friday.
