Acquired Awareness will keep you updated as to when the Sunshine Coast depot is open for business!

Fatality Free Friday – 26 May 2017

The aim is to have not a single road death in Australia just for one day. Road Safety is a complex issue but if we all think about Road Safety and Safe Driving just for one Friday of the year, that day’s toll (statistically about 5 deaths) could be reduced to zero. It is believed if road users actively concentrate on road safety and safe driving for just one day in the year, they will drive safer for the next few days and overtime, change their outlook completely. Last year was very successful with no road deaths on Fatality Free Friday.

You’re the key to Road Safety, so if you would like to Take the Pledge, please follow this link – https://www.fatalityfreefriday.com/individual/#.WR5co2iGOUk

Acquired Awareness is happy to say that we have added a brand new truck mounted attenuator (TMA) to our fleet. The new TMA has all the bells and whistles, as you’d expect from such an important piece of equipment. Look out for it on a traffic control site near you!

A Thank-You from Acquired Awareness

A few weeks ago, Cyclone Debbie hit and caused flooding on many of our roads. Acquired Awareness would like to give a special thank-you to all of our Traffic Controllers who were able to assist with the flood call outs to many of our sites, including Brisbane City Council, Gold Coast City Council and RoadTek sites.

We appreciate everyone’s hard work during this time, and hope everyone continues to stay safe!

Portable Traffic Signals

Acquired Awareness Traffic Management has now purchased the new Type 1 e-STOP Portable Traffic Signals, and will be placing them on our roadworks as per the Department of Transport and Main Roads requirements as of July 1 2017.
