Traffic Management Plans (TMPS’s)

Traffic Management Plans describe all essential traffic management matters associated with roadworks or works on road related areas such as verges, footpaths and everything else in the road corridor. They include an overlay of what will be set up for the works (TGS), a risk assessment of the traffic management to be implemented, permits for works etc.

Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS)

Traffic Guidance Schemes are the visual representation of what signs, devices and traffic movements are to be achieved for the safe operation of the site, and safe and efficient movement of road users.

Permits

There are some roads/worksites that require approval from the Road Infrastructure Manager (Council, TMR etc.). Acquired Awareness liaise with the Road Infrastructure Manager on behalf of the client to gain the necessary approvals to ensure jobs can commence and operate safely.

Site Visits

In instances where a complex set up may be required, a site visit with a client can streamline the development of a TMP that will suit the works and road users appropriately. This service can be offered by request and negotiation.

TMD Advice

Where a client requires further interpretation of the technical documents associated with Traffic Management and their impact on the clients work, the client may request specific advice from AATM’s many internal qualified Traffic Management Designers (TMD).

Acquired Awareness operates from three depots (Northern Brisbane, the Gold Coast & the North Coast) within South East Queensland allowing for localised support to clients in these regions. We currently have in excess of one hundred and sixty purpose-built, fully equipped Traffic Control vehicles fitted with roof-mounted arrowboards and UHF Radios. In addition to twelve Variable Message Boards (with solar powered LED light technology), nine VMS utes and six Truck Mounted Attenuators (Bump Trucks) for hire.

We have more than 160 purpose built vehicles that are capable of servicing South East Queensland, greatly benefiting our clients who may have worksites which are in a number of different locations across the area.

All vehicles are equipped with appropriate warning lights, roof mounted arrowboards and UHF radios for safety on sites. They are also serviced on a regular basis to ensure optimum operating performance, whilst on or travelling to/from worksites. We also have 10 TMA’s, 18 VMS utes, multiple sets of type 1 portable traffic signals and a great team of TMD planners to ensure smooth operations.
